OWC ThunderBlade

The OWC ThunderBlade is an ultra-fast, high-capacity external SSD solution designed for professionals who require the ultimate in speed and performance. It’s particularly suited for tasks that demand rapid data access and transfer, such as video editing, 3D rendering, and large-scale data analysis. The Thunderblade is available with 4x or 8x NVMe M.2 SSD’s. In RAID 0 the 8x can acheive transfer speeds up to 2949MB/s over Thunderbolt 3 or 4.

OWC Express 4m2

For those that like to get their hands dirty, the OWC Express 4M2 is a ‘build it yourself’ version of the Thunderblade. Purchase the 4M2 chassis and up to 4x NVMe M.2 SSD’s. The unit can be configured using softRAID software (in RAID 5) or via the Apple MAC or Windows OS (RAID 0 or RAID 1).

OWC ThunderBay

The OWC ThunderBay is a traditional desktop RAID storage solution available in a 4-BAY or 8-BAY configuration. Thunderbay can be populated with 3.5″ HDD or 2.5″ SATA SSD and storage can be configured using softRAID software or your MAC or Windows operating system. The Thunderbay is ideal for those who need high storage volumes (up to 160TB) or high performance for video editing, with RAID-5 redundancy. Multiple RAID levels and a mixture of volumes can be set.
